Smart Boards Purchase

Thanks to a generous grant from the Friends of The Marblehead Public Schools Marblehead High School art department has been able to buy two portable Smart Boards. Shirley Huller White and Pascale Queval are using these boards in Studio 1,2,3,4, and in 3D Design classes to present concepts in a more engaging way. Smart Boards allow teachers to create interactive presentations and make topics such as Art History more exciting for students. Instead of watching a simple power point presentation students along with their teachers can move or modify visual elements on the board, “edit” or reorganize paintings and visualize “what if” scenarios otherwise difficult to imagine.
