FROM INSPIRATION TO INSTALLATION

3D Design Harpoons for Hunting...

3D Design 1 art students visited the deCordova Sculpture Park & Museum last November to explore sculpture as an art form. From this experience students chose their final art project, which was based on fiber sculpture artwork entitled Harpoons for Hunting Rainbows by artist Jacin Giordano.

Giordano visited students at the high school and talk about his creative process which proved very inspiring! Students created their own Harpoons for Hunting... DNA, Tornadoes, My Little Pony, Dreams, Ocean Life, and more.

This project was made possible by funding from the Parents’ Council and community yarn donations. Work is currently on display in the MHS lobby. Thank you for all of your support!!
